Famous Grand Cru White Burgundy. The vineyard of Corton-Charlemagne is situated in the prime area of the hillside of Corton where its southeasterly aspect ensures maximum exposure to the sun. Louis Latour is one of the most renowned producers of this exceptional wine. The fruit is harvested as late as possible to guarantee maximum ripeness. 2020 was an excellent vintage for these white Burgundy wines. James Suckling scored this 97 points saying "A very cool and tight Corton Charlemagne with the intense spice, bold structure and steeliness that we expect from this appellation. Staggering concentration, which at this early stage makes the wine slightly austere, but all this gives it great aging potential. Fantastic integration of oak, fruit and mineral acidity at the amazing finish."
